Souls Need the Second World
As I gazed at the dark blue waters outside the door,
I found my windows and roof fully submerged.
Soon, I was swept away by a large wave. For a moment, I stopped breathing—
Wrapping itself around my waist and chest, the wave pulled me up.
Suddenly, I stood on the quiet ground. I was on both my feet.
The image of him watching me disappeared.
He was nowhere to be seen.
After some time, our farewell—
Finally, I can unfold my past as part of my journey.
It can remain a memory, but not forgiveness.
